content Atelier HSL asked five artists/designers to make a sketch for a mobile landscape for a model train. The winning proposal is to be brought on the market in a multiple of 50 to 100 pieces. design The starting point for this project is a 'looking box' where the observer sees a passing train as if he is viewing it from within a train himself. The decor is a three dimensional image of a Dutch landscape complete with clogs, a windmill, sheep and cows that continually change through the movement of te observer. The jury found it an inventive combination of train, landscape and passenger, worthy of further working out.
